How we ran the research
10 unbranded questions a real patient would ask: who to choose in Canada and in Toronto, IVF, egg freezing and donor egg programs, cost, reviews and trust, and a private clinic vs a large hospital.
Each question ran once in the Glasa product through ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google AI Mode, market set to Canada, on 1 October 2026 (08:29–10:05 UTC).
50 of 50 answers were collected. Clinic mentions were extracted from the answer texts by Glasa's research script and merged by name; counts are answers mentioning a clinic, not occurrences. Regulators, programs, map credits and review sites were removed with exclusion lists.
Sources are the URLs each engine cited in its answer, grouped by domain.
One run on one day. AI answers change between runs, accounts and locations, so treat the counts as a snapshot, not a ranking of clinic quality. Being named by AI says nothing about a clinic's licence or results. Check the clinic's physicians with the provincial college of physicians and surgeons. Mentions were identified by Glasa's research script from the answer texts; small differences in spelling or abbreviation can shift a count by one or two.
